President Quick gave us three invitations during Stake Conference:
Look at a picture of Christ both morning and evening and reflect on Him and His redeeming role in your life. And ask the question, “What can I do today to please Him?”
Read John 8. It is loaded with wonderful doctrine. This really aligns with President Nelson’s invitation to study the life of Christ.
Reread the talk by President Nelson from the last conference entitled: Christ is Risen; Faith in Him Will Move Mountains.

Fayetteville North Carolina Stake Vision
When President Quick was called as Stake President, he was inspired with a vision and plan for the stake. He was impressed to read in Doctrine and Covenants 101, and verse 65 really stood out. It reads, "Therefore, I must gather together my people, according to the parable of the wheat and the tares, that the wheat may be secured in the garners to possess eternal life, and be crowned with celestial glory, when I shall come in the kingdom of my Father to reward every man according as his work shall be."
